{Game} Kaua’i Game 2010 Winners Announced

We have winners folks! Congratulations to Brenda Boeff (from Colorado) and Jennifer McAdams (from Utah) for winning my Kaua’i Game 2010. Each will receive 16*20 print copy of the waterfall pictured below, taken while on a hike along Wailua in Kaua’i this year. Thanks to all those who participated, I couldn’t believe how much response I got and I am grateful for everybody’s support and kind words! Until next game!

Shipwreck Beach

Just a couple of photographs I was fortunate to take home with me from the lovely Shipwreck Beach in Kaua’i

Prince Kuhio

Every time we visit Kaua’i we spend at least one sunset here.
A tradition, an ode, a promise.
The sunset here never disappoints.
I hope you all are having a lovely evening.

Wishing G was here!

A monk seal enjoyed the quiet evening with us

Good night Kuhio!

Ahola Haena

We checked out Haena Beach on our second morning in Kaua’i. This beach is located on the north shore. It’s not really good for swimming especially during winter, but my boys really liked playing here. There is a stream that flows to the river right by a sand dune/bank that my son went absolutely went crazy for. Here are some pictures from Haena:

Kaua’i Teaser

We got back from Kaua’i Tuesday night. I’m finally getting around to sifting through and organizing over 10 gig of photos I took. Here’s a teaser taken while approaching Lihue. I’ll put up more soon and post the photos for the Kaua’i game. Thanks for bearing with me :)

A Tradition Continues

Year after year, despite our incredibly hectic schedules we find ourselves coming back to Hawaii. Undeterred by the chaos at work, we always break apart from such madness and take a tropical breather. This year we are coming back to our favorite island and it will be extra special since it is our babymoon! In addition to revisiting our beloved spots, we hope to do more exploration and check out the places we didn’t get the chance to see when we were last there. It’s crazy how I could see myself spending many months in this island and never get tired of its remote beauty. We are excited. Let the tradition continue.
