There’s something about Hawaii that beckons me every year.
A ‘come-hither’ look that I find so overpowering.
Here’s Queen’s Bath, a shot I took back in 2007.
A redux for an impending visit. Yes, the tradition will continue.

Live with intention.Walk to the edge.
Listen hard. Practice wellness.
Play with abandon. Laugh.
Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends.
Continue to learn. Do what you love.
Live as if this is all there is.

Just a couple of photographs I was fortunate to take home with me from the lovely Shipwreck Beach in Kaua’i

“We may run, walk, stumble, drive, or fly,
but let us never lose sight of the reason for the journey,
or miss a chance to see a rainbow on the way.”

Just like water is to sand, I want to be near you always.

Just catching up on my backlog of Hawaii photos.
Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten my Kaua’i game, thanks for your patience ![]()

Just photography. I hope you all are having a beautiful Monday.

Every time we visit Kaua’i we spend at least one sunset here.
A tradition, an ode, a promise.
The sunset here never disappoints.
I hope you all are having a lovely evening.
Wishing G was here!

Good night Kuhio!

My dear blog readers, first off, I would like to thank you for the overwhelming number of entries I have received for the Kaua’i game. Your suggestions get me more and more amped up for our upcoming trip.
For those who weren’t able to send their entries in time, do not fret!
Due to some shuffling in my own schedule, our trip has been rescheduled to a (slightly) later date. This means the deadline has been extended – to March 1st to be exact. So, you have exactly half a month to come up with your unique ideas and locations for what *you* want me to capture in the lovely Garden Isle!
Limahuli Garden

Year after year, despite our incredibly hectic schedules we find ourselves coming back to Hawaii. Undeterred by the chaos at work, we always break apart from such madness and take a tropical breather. This year we are coming back to our favorite island and it will be extra special since it is our babymoon! In addition to revisiting our beloved spots, we hope to do more exploration and check out the places we didn’t get the chance to see when we were last there. It’s crazy how I could see myself spending many months in this island and never get tired of its remote beauty. We are excited. Let the tradition continue.
