Fall is just around the corner and yet it feels like summer is just starting to peak here. I hope you all are keeping cool!

For Victor,
Here’s to the timeless beauty of Castle Peak!
And yes, my pregnant heart rate can (still) take it

Just got back this morning from our 4-day trip at the lovely Mt. Shasta where we met up with 15 other friends and rang in 2010. The look and feel was definitely a lot different this year compared to when we were last there in 2009 – We got more snow! – but nonetheless, it was equally delicious! I hope you all had a great new year welcoming!

Another year older, another year wiser? Perhaps
I do feel another year MORE blessed and MORE loved. On this day, I’m not only thankful for the good life. I am thankful for family and selflessness. For mom and dad’s unconditional sacrifices, for my siblings unwavering support, for the incredible kindness of true friends and best of all for E and L’s unequivocal love. I thank these people for letting me experience utter completeness: a daughter, a sister, a friend, a wife, and the most profound of them all, a mother. At the end of the day, really, isn’t having and being a part of a family the most precious thing in life?

I love capturing Yosemite in black and white.
I find that in doing so, it actually opens your eyes to many of her facets often overlooked in color.
Here’s my monochromatic tribute to the grand Yosemite National Park.

Trekking in knee deep snow without snowshoes was ‘kind of’ fun ![]()

Breaking fresh packed snow for 4 miles one-way is no walk in the park, but it’s SO worth it!

One of the MANY perks living up in the hills!

We had a gorgeous autum weekend here in the Bay Area. I hope yours was too!

It’s been over a year since I last visited Tahoe.
This Thanksgiving, we’ll get reacquainted once again!

As a continuum, it’s only the 1st day of my favorite month
and yet I’m already feeling such overflow of blessings! Happy Sunday!
